Can I do the main story first?

Good morning, gentlemen. Unfortunately, I had to start a new save on another platform, and I'd like to know if I can do the main missions first and only then do the side missions?

My only fear is missing some missions, posters, etc... by progressing too quickly in the game. Thank you very much in advance :)
