Switching from Adderall to Ritalin. Nervous.

I’ve been on Adderall for 10+ years. I started having some negative side effects recently like joint pain from chronic dehydration. On Adderall I could never drink enough water to make up for the dehydration. Some days I was drinking almost a gallon a day and still had joint pain so my doctor suggested trying Ritalin.

I am very nervous to take it. Has anyone switched from Addie’s to Ritalin and what was it like?
