Just binge read the whole thing : this title needs way more publicity.

I'm late 30s, I've been in the manga fandom since I was a kid, grew up and worked in bookselling for a good 15 years and let me say that this title is a good one.

As a bookseller, I'll always try to recommend a book through what I feel is the DNA of the title : here we have early Hunter X Hunter art style, Kaiju N°8 typa monster power, a little bit of The Walking Dead post apocalyptic world and that hint of Blame nihilistic tone. That last one elevates this series tremendously but is also reigned in so far with glimpses of hope and major wins. I like that supporting characters are *SPOILER* not dead, at least yet. Bob and Lilly still there, and I really thought Bob would be dead by now. I would have hated for Pano to be fridged but my girl is still hanging there too. And finally Alda, my boy, the aura farming one eyed Sasuke, I thought he was a goner after that flashback but apparently, he's as OP as any Adaptator so yeah, cool.

Now do I think MAD could be picked up for an anime adaptation? Definitely. But Kaiju N°8 who is really similar, is a really tough competition and the pitch could be harder to sell. In any case, I'm sold and happy I've came upon a new fave ✨️
