The 2H represents all those things that help us feel supported. As a succedent house, it functions as a support system to the 1H of self and dives into our material resources + comforts and the attitudes we have about owning, possessing, and acquiring the resources we need. Planets in this house can show us how we go about getting our basic needs met, and in a more psychological sense, this house can show us about what we value, what we deem worthy, and how this extends into our relationship with self.

As a 2H Scorpio stellium with multiple planets that are either in detriment or debilitated, my relationship with resources has always been precarious. Despite having a wealthy father, he abandoned my mother and I and as a result, I grew up in poverty, but I also grew up resourceful (Moon square Saturn). I learned that money was not the only resource and that my time, skills, character, and natural gifts were also resources that I could use to transform my life.

After years of trial and error, losses and gains, and intense shadow work, I've come out of the other side, more confident in myself and my relationship with my inner world. I see money as a tool of transformation (Scorpio) that I have access to. I don't assign my money to my self-worth and I know I have intrinsic value as a living breathing soul. With both benefics in the 12H, I use my spiritual gifts to attract the energies I want into my life, and I exercise fierce discernment around my generosity because I am someone that once identified as an endless well and lacked boundaries which kept me in cycles of struggle.

As a practicing astrologer of over 10 years, I have supported hundreds upon hundreds of clients with this exact type of shadow work that has helped them transform their self-concept, heal deep ancestral wounds around value, and helped them step into more favorable timelines. My work means a lot to me and I'd never recommend something I didn't try for myself. I'm not an astrologer that uses impractical magical thinking to wish the hard stuff away. I sit with you through it and help you tap into more of your own resourcefulness to grow. We go deep and we focus on real change, in the real world.
