I took the advise of the community and bought some foam sheets to mess around and make my own design.

It is not as easy as I thought, especially when you want different thinknesses and consitencies, plus the stapler works only when you have space.

I want to make divisions in my pouch, and I started doing it inside the one I currently use.

I want flexible "walls" where things fit snug, but also avoid it being too flexible.

I might have to find alternative materials if leather turns out to be too heavy or bulky, but I am willing to give it a try since I really like the feel and look of leather, and of course it will last a lifetime.

I need to decide what techniques to use. I need to sew vertical pieces, to create each section.

So far I am surpised of how much space I lose, but I assume it is because of how rough I am doing things with the foam. Once everything is refined I will lose much less space, I hope.

I have thought of the following ways to go.

1) Box stitch: Seems like I need a rather thick material, and maybe I lose a lot of space.

2) Wrapping thin leather around a material that meets the flexibility and sturdiness I need. Maybe 2 layers of leather are enough?

3) Water molding leather to each tool. And then build a pouch around whatever comes out of that. But it seems like a lot of work and makes it not so versatile if I change tools.

I need help on what to do. I am sure someone has done this before. Any tips are welcome.
