Can we change college in 3rd year engineering coming from direct second year background?

I have got admission as a dse in St.Francis Institute of Technology but spending 1 year, I think I wont be able to survive the strict attendance policy and rigid pattern, less scope of self learning etc. in this college Is there a way someone can guide me or help me
