Best AI headshot tool in 2026?

Genuine question, not looking for a sponsored list.

I use AI for most of my workflow at this point. Writing, research, summarising, planning. But when it comes to my own profile photo I have been putting it off for way too long.

Started looking into the best AI headshot tools and the main thing I keep seeing separate the good from the bad is whether the tool generates a face or learns yours.

This AI headshot tool apparently train a private model on your own photos so the output actually looks like you rather than a generic professional face. That distinction matters a lot to me because I do not want something that looks artificially perfect.

Has anyone here tried Looktara or anything similar recently? What actually worked and what felt off?
