Animal Control is citing us bus has our names wrong.

Location: NY. Animal Control stopped buy to ask us questions about our neighbors dog possibly attacking someone. After speaking to him he left and went to talk to the suspect neighbor. A week later we get a citation for having unregistered dogs (He must have seen them through the door when we were talking).

The Citation has the name of completely unrelated neighbors, with our address.

The unrelated neighbors only have one dog.

What should we do?
