Entering the USA as a US/CAN Dual Citizen

Hello,

A family member of mine is experiencing a medical emergency. I might need to re-enter the US, but I am really scared that something may go wrong.

I have a US passport with my sex assigned at birth, but all my Canadian documents show my actual gender presentation.

Does anyone have suggestions, advice, experience with a similar situation? I am mostly concerned that when I attempt to leave again, I may run into issues as I’ll be required to travel back to Canada on my Canadian passport.
