China-based exporter (scooters, motorcycles, auto parts, drone parts + Pilates reformers) – how to scale past $1M revenue in 2026?

Hi r/entrepreneur and r/smallbusiness,
I run a small export-import company based in China. We deal in scooter/motorcycle/auto parts, machinery, drone parts, and also Pilates reformers + fitness accessories. We operate both B2B and B2C channels.
Current situation:
• Annual revenue under $1 million
• Growing steadily last 2-3 years but feel we’ve hit a ceiling
• Mainly exporting to Europe, Middle East and some Southeast Asia
• Sourcing from Chinese factories (mostly Guangdong & Zhejiang)
We want to scale significantly in 2026 but facing several challenges:
• Rising production + shipping costs
• Increasing competition (especially on Alibaba and Amazon)
• Difficulty standing out in very crowded categories
• Finding reliable new markets and distributors
• Balancing B2B (wholesale) with B2C (direct sales)
Questions for those who scaled similar businesses:

  1. Which markets should we target in 2026 for these product categories? (Latin America, Africa, India, Australia etc.?)
  2. Best platforms right now: Alibaba + Amazon FBA, TikTok Shop, independent Shopify store, or specialized B2B marketplaces?
  3. Should we focus more on private labeling / branding our own Pilates reformers and scooter/ drone parts, or stay as trader?
  4. Any effective ways to find serious overseas distributors/importers?
  5. Logistics & payment tips (especially with current global shipping situation)
  6. Funding or growth financing options for small China exporters?
Really appreciate practical advice from people who’ve been in the export/import game — especially in auto parts, drone accessories or fitness equipment. No fluff please.
    Thanks in advance! 🙏
