I got the tupperdor, humidity packs, and hydrometer… now what?

So I get a systema 7.5L Tupperware container with a govee H1000 hydrometer along with 65% bodeva packs. Can I just throw all of my cigars and bodevas in with my hydrometer or do I need to put the hydrometer in there and see what the RH is naturally? This is my first time setting up a tupperdor and I don’t want to waste $100s of dollars worth of cigars.
