Should i reapply or just forget?

My dad and I ( w/out my mom ) had plans to get a belgium Schengen Visa for this june, and our visa got refused, we were confused at first and then it hit us, we forgot to bring the family link, since its a 3degree link ( indirect ) = me > mom > aunt > aunt's husband ( the inviter ), so as expected, our visa got refused for the reason "the justification of purpose of stay is not stated" and for the reasoning, it said that we said it was a family visa, and didn't bring the family link, therefore they couldn't verify the purpose of travel. I was thinking, since it's too late for an appeal, should we reapply and this time, we bring the family chain or what should we do?
