Want to know about nios cuz I got RT in my two subjects 12th boards exam

Today I got my 12th result and I got RT in 2 subjects, I total have 5 subjects and I got RT in two subjects. The thing I'm so confused in that what is NIOS.... I searched alot I says it give students like us for second chance without wasting there one year.... I don't want to waste my year gng ;( my father is so disappointed on me. Please can y'all tell me whats nios and how can I give my paper through it... Is it like CBSE only??? Or something different from CBSE??

Is NIOS really worthy? And what's the process for it??...

In result I got ESSENTIAL REPEAT... And i got RT in 2 subjects please guide me y'all🙏🏻🙏🏻
