Recs: Affordable suit in LA?

Hello goners!

I'm looking to help my boyfriend buy a suit (dark, appropriate for formal occasions). He's HLG height (6'5), and looking for something affordable. I'd love to get him into something like Dries or even Officine Générale, but they're obviously pricey. Hoping to find something that looks great but doesn't break the bank. Also, is Men's Wearhouse like... actually maybe ok?? Thank you!!!
