Password creation: only 1 of 2 password textboxes filled

Been using 1Password for more than a year now and these two things have been bugging me. I wonder if I am doing something wrong or it's just areas that need development.

1. When creating a new account,usually the site asks you to repeat the password. What happens is 1P pops up to create a password but onle fills in one of the password boxes leavi g me habing to ppen the app, copy the new password then head to the site and paste the second password.

2. When updating a new password, I can get 1P to generate a new password but it writes over the old one immediately. If the password change on the site did not run through successfully or if it asks the old password again as authentication, what do I do?
