Reduced tickets

Hello, I am 25 years old and I was wondering if I could still get the reduced 2€ ticket for the Collosseum, I know the website says up until the day you turn 25 but a friend told me at the entrance there wasn’t a problem she already turned 25. Which is the correct case?
