Nuc swarmed- when to first check them

Got my nucs a few weeks ago. One swarmed the other day. I was able to capture it and put it into another hive box. I gave them one frame of brood and 2 frames of drawn comb.

How long should I wait to inspect both?

When should I check the original hive for queen cells/ a new queen? I did not spot any swarm cells during my last inspection on the original hive.
