Account Ban for "Inappropriate name"

My account just got a 1-week ban for the name of one of my characters, stating that I breached the Code of Conduct.

This happened previously, but I was using an actual curse word in the name (the same curse word I have used on ~15+ characters prior to this season), and I did not get banned, they just changed the name to "temp" and made me pick a new one.

So, I went to review the "Code of Conduct", expecting a lengthy read of defined guidelines, but all it says is this:

"Take note that acceptable names are determined by player reports and Blizzard's decision, and role-playing servers may have distinct standards for using game-appropriate names."

This time, the character's name was "microPP", because microPhotonParticle was too long (/s).

Has anyone else dealt with this issue/ the appeals process?
