Can I sue my county road commission

Location: Northern Michigan

My county snow plow service has destroyed a part of my lawn for 20 years in a row. Normally, I have to add topsoil and re-seed or re-sod. I've used markers, snow sticks, metal posts, all to no avail. Last year they did an inordinate amount of damage, costing me money, work and time, which they said they would do nothing about. They did say they would come out early in fall and mark the area themselves. They did not. This spring, in addition to a 30'x10' area of lawn damage, they dug up and destroyed the irrigation system hoses and a number of sprinkler heads. Can I sue for damages and repairs?
