Help an Old Timer Getting Back into it With A Team Direction

So I started playing Dokkan like a decade ago or so and I stopped for years, like a long time. I just started up a few weeks ago and thankfully nabbed Red Supervillian Vegeta to help jump start because the power creep is crazy now. So many old cards that used to smack no longer do.

I tried to summon a few and upgrade a few to help and right now the team I've been going with is my LR Godku and his pure/hybrid Saiyan leader, it has done fairly well in a lot of areas but still too weak on higher stuff.

So what do you guys think? Is there someone I should be training up or a type I should be focusing on. I'm torn if I should go after the god goku banner now to help me more or wait it out for the next one too.

I also have crossover stones to get those guys if you think they are any good, waiting to get the last mission so I have 20 book of wars to get an LR, idk what tho. Advice?

I'm trying to learn things so any advice is much appreciated.
