Cranking engine counter clockwise

I have M52B28TU on a stand.

After pulling the valve cover and spark plugs I went to hand crank it to make sure it's smooth.

I started cranking counter clockwise and after hearing the timing chain tensioner click 3-4 times (I was checking what's clicking and stopped after realizing what I'm doing). I went ahead and hand cranked the engine again this time clockwise.

It made 3-4 full smooth rotations.

Did I get away with my mistake this time or do I need retiming?
