What Stellaris does brilliantly is make every new system feel like a strategic decision. Do you expand here or consolidate first? What are the risks? What do you gain?

Cosmic Gold Rush is built on that same strategic backbone but compressed into a roguelite. You face a universe of 7 solar systems and you choose your own route through it. Tackle the alien systems first for technology? Storm the pirate strongholds for weapons? Play it safe and build resources before going deeper?

Every decision has consequences. Go in underprepared and the universe will remind you. Go in with the right tech tree unlocked and systems that seemed impossible become manageable.

Less grand strategy. More personal. You are not an empire — you are one astronaut with robots, a ship, and a mission that humanity is counting on.

Stellaris made me love the idea of conquering a universe system by system — I built a smaller, faster, more dangerous version of that feeling
