Hi yall i just wanna ask on how to find out if a stalker is not stalking you anymore

I have a stalker irl like he had my fav dog race (a samoyed idk how he knew that) and used to hang out around my home like i would see him near even when i took out trash and i never saw his face really but it seems like he hasn't shown up for like some months ? And it kinda gets me paranoid a little and going to the police isnt an option cause they problaby wont believe me and i dont have like ANY evidence
