This feels like a weight loss hack (dropping roughly 1kg per week)
Here is what I've been doing over the past 7 weeks or so:
Daily psyllium husk and creatine in the morning
Fasting from midnight to 6 pm (only black coffee and water)
That's it 🫤
This feels like a cheat code. The psyllium husk helps with killing the appetite during work. Having hectic work all day helps in distracting the brain as well and not think of food. Fasting seems to help in burning the fast. And with short eating period... calories are easier to track.. i eat 1k calories around 6-7pm (usually rice/chicken/veggies.. then 600 calories (typically peanut butter sandwich and milk) around midnight
I'm 42, male, 182cm height.. dropped from 96-90 in like 7 weeks (creatine might've added 1-2kg so the actual drop might be slightly bigger)
I do 6k steps daily (never missed a day this year) so this might've helped as well.
My daily calories burn i think around 2.3k.. so it's a good calorie deficit. Weekends i do normal maintenance days but not over indulge.
What makes me think this is a hack is that I don't feel stressed.. I'm ok doing this long term especially as i always struggled to eat between meetings at work so might as well fast.
Still short term with only 7 weeks.. but thought of sharing.. might update later to see how things went
