Not sure what to think

I have asked God multiple times for the gift of Discernment. I would consider myself wise and I want to make sure I’m wise spiritually as well. Lately I have been experiencing demon attacks in dreams. And we’ve experienced some unexplained movements in our home. To the point we want to call a pastor to bless our home. I’m going to be anointing our doorframes as well. My husband is unfortunately under the attack with alcoholism and I was praying over him while he was sleeping and I’m not sure if my eyes were tricking me or if I really saw something, but it was like a dark wisp rose from him and disappeared. It happened so fast I thought it was just my eyes deceiving me. But what if it wasn’t and I really did see something? I was in the waiting room at a hospital yesterday and a man was sitting across the room from me and for a second, I saw a dark wisp above him too. I should have prayed for him in that moment, but I didn’t. What are your thoughts? Am I just seeing things or am I experiencing spiritual discernment and seeing something of the spiritual world? I want to use this gift to lift God’s name up!
