Loud Cracking noise

Hi all,

Recent robot owner with a new robot from the April drop. I’ve used it multiple times a day since and it’s been great paired with a Mazzer Philos.

Yesterday I was making an espresso and it was at about 8 bar pressure when there was a loud crackin noise which scared me and it seemed like something had broken. Pressure then seemed disrupted but I was a bit panicked that something had broken so wasn’t fully aware of that and was aborting the shot.

Everything seems to be fine though and it’s working as normal.

On reflection I wonder if somehow something happened with the seal and the crack was a sharp release of pressure.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Wondering if there is something I should check. There aren’t really any obvious weak parts that could break off.
