LA Consulate - Concerns

The LA consulate has taken money from my family and then never delivered the requested documents. They also refused a refund. So we sent them several hundred dollars for absolutely nothing.

I’m also in the boat of folks who were told to request an appointment on the 11th, only for them to reply they are completely full and have no more appointments. People who emailed at midnight report that they got the “we’re full” message. I tried asking them questions about consular days and they were extremely short with me and said they have absolutely no info to share.

I really, really want to move to Croatia. What the fuck do I do? I have all of my documents ready to go but at this point I’m worried I’ll never get an appointment through LA. It seems like they pick and choose who they want to work with, and it’s not been my family.
