I’m honestly losing interest in playing since they changed the matchmaking system.
And no, I don’t want a "PvE" mode.
The system from before WAS the perfect solution.
If you played peacefully, avoided fights and didn’t shoot other raiders, the game would mostly match you with similar players. Hostile encounters still happened, but they were rare and therefore you still had that small sense of anxiety — “trust is good, but not trusting is better” — which is exactly how it should be. That tension is what made ARC Raiders unique, something a "PvE" mode would completely remove.
Now it feels completely different.
Every few raids it feels like the game decides you’re going to end up with ultra aggressive players and it turns into the same toxic extraction shooter where everyone shoots on sight.
What made ARC Raiders special was that your behavior actually shaped the kind of experience you had.
I just don’t understand why they changed one of the best ideas
