[TOMT][Movie] 1980s-1990s European action comedy about small-time con artists

I'm looking for a movie I watched as a kid, probably between 1995-2005, but the film itself is from the 80s or 90s. It's not an American movie — most likely French, Italian, Spanish or some European co-production.

Plot and scenes I remember:

• Group of small-time con artists / scammers. The leader is a charming, dark-haired guy (Clooney vibe, a bit like Benicio del Toro but not him).
• They stay in a hotel and make threatening phone calls to rich people and banks for extortion.
• While the leader is making one of these calls, the attractive woman in the group (brown/reddish hair, very sexy) is taking a bath in a jacuzzi/full of foam. There are scenes where she is topless and in a thong.
• They are amateurs, not really dangerous — just talk a big game.
• At some point they accidentally get caught between a shootout between two mafia groups: one local/white (possibly Italian-style) and an Asian mafia (triads?). They try to escape comically while bullets are flying near some warehouse/hall.
• They meet a real big boss gangster (white guy, possibly Italian looking) — they visit his office a couple of times and attend some elegant big event/wedding/party at his place. The leader and the woman get intimate/romantic in one room during that event.
• Ending: The leader is sitting thoughtfully on a chair next to a motel swimming pool. The camera slowly pulls back / goes up in bird's eye view over the sea while the credits roll.

It's an action comedy, more light-hearted than serious crime. They mostly run away from real danger.

I've been searching for years and no one has been able to identify it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
