GREEN CLOSING, RED EMOTIONS - the poem….
GREEN CLOSING, RED EMOTIONS …
At 9:15, it’s not just trades that begin,
It’s a battle outside… and a war within.
On NSE screens numbers may rise and fall,
But the real volatility lives in us all.
Morning tea in one hand tight,
Mobile in the other—tracking every fight.Stock you tracked for days, run high,
The one you bought just refuses to fly.
Brain says, “Wait… let the trend be clear,”
Heart jumps in, driven by fear.
One green candle—and logic bends,
We chase the price… like long-lost friends
We buy high, because others did,
Herd mentality quietly slid.
“Everyone’s buying, it must be right,”
Till red appears… and kills the light.
A small profit comes—we exit quick,
Fear is faster than any trick.
But losses? We give them time to grow,
“Long term hai,” we softly glow.
By noon, we’re tired, slightly numb,
Wondering what we’ve become.
Charts keep moving, mind stands still,
Caught between discipline and thrill.
Someone says, “Market is easy yaar,”
Till reality shows who we are.
No one posts their losses here,
Only green screenshots appear.
Afternoon brings a sudden rise,
The stock we sold now touches skies.
We watch in silence, a little sore,
Knowing we won’t chase anymore…
(But next time, we probably will for sure.)
3:30 pm the day is done,
No big victory, no big run.
Just lessons small, repeated again,
In this cycle of hope and pain.
Because the truth, simple and clear
Market is not what we fear…
It’s our own mind, year by year,
That makes it hard to stay sincere.
