Hire a Karaoke Host

My kids have discovered karaoke and are absolutely obsessed. They’re planning a joint birthday party and really want to do a karaoke/dance party!

We’re thinking of renting a community hall and are looking for a karaoke host who could also DJ/play music in between singers so the party keeps going even when nobody’s up singing.

We’ve done karaoke a couple of times before, and there seem to be two styles:

• hosts who use a song book/catalogue
• hosts where you just walk up, request almost any song, and they somehow find it instantly (youtube maybe?)

We would LOVE the second option if possible, since kids always come up with the weirdest song requests.

Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated!

We don't have a date yet but it will probably be a Saturday afternoon in June.
