I’m getting ghosted by a very large company after a bizarre interview process

Three weeks ago I had an interview with a very large and well known construction company.

I won’t lie, the whole process was a bit weird. The recruiter called me ages ago, left a voicemail so I rang her back, she didn’t pick up even after I left her a voicemail back (5 mins after she called me). No biggie, I assumed they moved on to another candidate.

A week later the recruiter calls me again, I answer and she invites me to interview two weeks later. The interview itself was really weird, it was with one person (who was very nice no judgement to them!), as i’ve always had experience being interviewed by minimum two people. The interviewer wasn’t in HR or recruitment (again which isn’t an issue), but would be a potential colleague. The only directions they were given was some interview questions from recruitment that they had to answer then take notes on my responses which took a while for them to type between questions (didn’t really bother me). I thought we got along quite well and it was a genuinely pleasant interview, even though they seemed a bit confused about what interview steps they had to take.

Interview ends, I send a thank you email to the recruiter who rang me and set up the interview. No response but I wasn’t expecting it. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing, so I email her again. Still nothing!

I’m honestly not bothered that I haven’t got the job as I wasn’t big on it, but just some closure and feedback would be nice please? Especially as this is such a large company, and when searching reviews nobody mentioned being ghosted by them. Even if there’s some internal issues holding up stuff I would be fine with just an email saying that.

I just can’t believe that they have such a disorganised recruitment process and nobody seems to have said anything, making me think that there was something horrific about how I interviewed lmao
