Has anyone here ever flown with the knifeless rebar?

Specifically I'm checking in from Canada - most of my flights are domestic here. I travel a good deal, and I don't like checking bags. I'm in construction - so I like having my Leatherman for site visits, but I can't.

So I'm thinking about getting the knifeless rebar, but I can't find whether or not you can actually fly with it - google is giving me mixed messages.
