Girl I’m talking to wants me to wear panties if I want to strap her

I (29F) started talking to this woman (31f) . We were discussing what kind of sex we like. I made it clear I like to use the strap. She expressed that “she’s an old school lesbian” and doesn’t take strap.

She said if I wanted to strap her I would have to wear panties bc that turns her on. I’ve never had this happen to me before. Maybe because I’m use to dating bisexual women they were just okay with using the strap no added stipulations.

The more I think about it I just would not feel comfortable in panties. I’ve been a masculine stud etc whatever u want to call me for all of my life. Always felt comfortable in male clothing. Even if I could get passed putting on the panties I wouldn’t even feel comfortable enough to enjoy the strap.

I told her this. & she said she doesn’t like strap but she’ll take it for me bc she knows I like it. I feel what I’m asking is basic & what she’s asking for is a bit extreme.

Am I overthinking? Overreacting? I don’t want this to be a deal breaker but we both like what we like! Is there a way I can just get over it and put the panties on and still enjoy the sex? I don’t see any REAL compromise that makes us both comfortable..
