The top left picture of the first image is the picture I took in the mirror with no AI editing. At most there is a light colour filter on there. I don’t think the filter is changing my face much other than maybe making it blurry and distorted. I asked chat GPT to make the picture brighter and clearer and to not change my face or body. The picture is dim and all I wanted was it to be brighter these are the multiple attempts. I actually liked the bottom right picture. I know it change the colour of my dress but I literally have a dress like that. When I zoomed in though, it was just really confusing. My family said that it does not look different than me other than maybe a little bit the mouth and nose area but it really looks the same as me. They just said it was too smooth. So I added some green. I keep looking at the picture and feeling like it doesn’t look like me but everyone around me saying it does. This is making me so confused on what I actually look like and how I am perceived. The next two slides are just random pictures of me in different settings to show you what I look like.

  
when I’m on Instagram I used to see you women severely photo shopping their pictures. They would put 10 layers a FaceApp out. I totally understand editing out a pimple, using a colour filter, or maybe even a really slight enhance. But I don’t get what’s the point of editing your picture to look like a totally different person. I personally do not think that I am very photogenic. I think I’ve learned to take nicer pictures, but I look better in motion and everyone says I look better in person. The last thing I want is to have my pictures look better than me because of AI. Anyway, now I’m off in seeing the super polished pictures on Instagram that look extremely AI, 1000 times more polished then what Photoshop does. It literally looks like a cartoon character. I feel like this is severely distorting how we view human beings because I’m even confused now on what the heck I look like.

  
The reason I think the picture looks fake it’s just because of how perfectly smooth it is. I feel like if I were to hold my camera to the mirror right now, I just would not look like that. Even on a day where I feel like I look really beautiful, and better than the ai, there’s something that made the picture almost doll like. Not saying you can’t look like a doll in real life but I can’t explain it, but everyone around me is saying that it looks normal. It’s a glimmer in my eyes, the relaxed expression, the perfect lip gloss.
