Crash

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. After extracting the game Everything Is a Crab and reading the text file saying that I just needed to launch it, when I try to start it I get a message saying that it wasn’t launched through Steam and to try again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks so much in advance!
