Question about Census 2026 Job

Hello Everyone!

I just had a question about the 2026 census job, if anyone in the past has done the census, I would really appreciate the input.

Recently, I got hired for it, and they sent me an email with the details saying it would be roughly 20-40 hours per week until August 1st.

My question was about these hours. I know it's a minimum of 20 hours and a maximum of 40 hours, but does anyone know how the hours fluctuate throughout the two months of the census?

The reason I'm asking is that I could get a second job for the summer, if the census hours were always closer to 20 or so. But if there are 30-40 hours per week, then I probably wouldn't be getting a second job for the summer and only work the census till it ends.

Sorry if this was confusing; it's just my first time doing the Census, so I wanted to see what the hours were like.
