Recruiting events

So Skywest has a recruiting event near me next month and am wondering how it works. I applied online to Skywest and got instantly rejected. If I go to the recruiting event what’s the chances I can actually get a job there? Do they do interviews on the spot and give job offers on the spot? I’ve never been to a recruiting event and how does it all work. Can someone chime in their experience?
