Staying alive and balancing inspire with angles

Hiya, I've been struggling with positioning lately and knowing when to support an off angle/stay down main mostly, and that really affects my inspire and overall usefulness. I just switched from console around 2 weeks ago so a good part of this may be my mechanics, but my gamesense is definitely off. I'd appreciate any help :)
