Vienna exchange

Hi, I am a student from Canada and am going abroad in the summer semester 2027 which starts in March. When is the appropriate time to book accommodations? As I don’t want to be stuck last minute looking but at the same time I won’t get anymore details from my university till the fall. Does anyone have past experience booking accommodations that would recommend a time window?
