Will SMP work on one side of my hairline? I have bleach damage.

Hey guys,

I'm 41 (M). Back in 2004, I got my head bleached at a salon. Biggest mistake. The lady left it on too long and it burned my scalp. My hairline went gappy and thinner on one side and slightly higher afterwards, compared to the other side. It hasn't progressed or gotten worse in 22 years. I wear my hair at 2 inches. Will SMP work and he noticable on my hairline?
