Here’s my current collection. From to bottom:

TSBI Diamond 580 ALR <1.1 Stub>
Pilot CH912 <FM>
Pilot C823 <Medium>
Pilot C743 <FA>
Montblanc <Medium>
Cross Signature <Fine>
Lamy LX <EF and Medium>

I inherited the MB and Cross from my dad. Also not pictured: TWBI Limited Edition Obsidian <F>

My favorite daily writer is my 823 for its smoothness and the size of the pen/feel in hand. The MB writes very nicely but my hand fatigues quicker due to the width of the grip section which gives the 823 the edge for daily writing.

I am looking to add a pen next month with a broader nib. I am torn between a Pilot C823 Clear <Signature>, Pilot C845 Vermillion , or a Pelikan Black and Green stripe m800 <Medium>

Money is a consideration for me. In other words, the pen vis-á-vis it’s cost are part of the equation so I am not asking for recommendations for these pens in a vacuum, if that’s makes sense.

Which of the 3 would you recommend and why? Or is there another pen I should consider?

PS I would add a Sailor 1911L in Maroon to the list but those are pretty hard to come by in the US.

PSS I have been planning on making this post for a few weeks but I decided to finally do it after a post on here earlier today sparked quite the discussion!

Advice on Next Pen (C823, C845 or m800)
