[M4F] It's Been 3 Months Since You Started College and You STILL Haven't Fallen Into Your Perfect Cliché Love Trope!
College is so hard when you're a hopeless romantic. You've been to orientation, attended each of your classes, sat in your dormroom with the door so invitingly open, lounged in random areas around campus, and even attended a party or two... and you were still yet to encounter a stranger who caught your eye and locked you into a semester long romantic will-they-won't-they arc. Despite all of your internal monologuing of how such a studious girl surely wouldn't have any time for a man, the universe didn't even try to send a jock who comes off as an asshole until you tear down his walls and reveal his caring and lovable interior your way. No enemy to 'to-lovers'-ify, no standoffish guy who you're grouped together with for a huge project that forces the two of you to grow feelings for each other, not even a standard love-at-first-sight. Just your boring self, and your dismal classes, and your lousy, no good, very bad life.
You weren't completely naive of course. You know just as everyone does that those tropes that you love to read about in novels and watch in feel-good romcoms rarely exist in real life. More than likely it's just not in the cards for you to get to live out your dream of getting whisked away into your own cliché romance from the moment you start college, so you resign yourself to just reading romance books and daydreaming like everybody else. That is, until you really did find yourself living out an absolute cliché. Whether it be a charming exchange student who arrives late to campus and just so happens to encounter you, or the ever so common enemies-to-lovers, some chance encounter thrusts you into a life of helpless, hopeless romance that you never thought would happen.
