Hi everyone,

I’m a UX/Product designer (10+ years in SaaS and e-commerce) who has spent the last 3 years designing and balancing a competitive card game called **Skyland: Hunt Protocol**.

It’s not a classic 1v1 card battler. All players fight the same monster at the same time and race to kill it with the fewest scored cards. The core loop is about building efficient chains, managing stamina/ether, and deciding when to trash cards to fix your combo. I have 4 unique decks, 8 hunters with abilities, a permanent upgrade system, and the whole thing is already fully playable and balanced on Tabletopia.

The original plan was physical, but after doing all the printing/fulfillment math it looks almost impossible to make work financially. So I’m now seriously looking at digital options.

I know almost nothing about coding or game development. I’m good at UX/UI and I already have (or am paying artists for) all the real art assets, card designs, hunter illustrations, etc. I don’t want tools that force me to use only AI-generated art.

What I’m looking for is something that lets me focus on **building the actual mechanics and logics** (chains, combo resolution, trashing with cascade effects, continuing combos across turns, monster reactions, tracking stats, upgrade system, etc.) while I can use my own art assets instead of placeholders later. It is okay to start with placeholders, but I want to be able to put my own art and IP on it.

Are there any realistic tools or paths for someone in my position?  
Is this even doable without becoming a full developer and spending years learning the skill?  
Any guidance, tool recommendations, or “here’s what I would do” stories would be really helpful.
