Weekly Strategem bugged?

Is this new weekly strategem bugged to where the game will freeze and crash after a while? I’ve never done a strategem before and saw this weekly looked easy compared to the previous one so I loaded in a normal one and both times when I get to the defend the giant mech part my game freezes and crashes at some point during the defense.

I play on console btw.
