If Harry & Meghan returned to the UK, would they be considered senior royals again?
Forgive me if this has been covered before: I had just read an article about their finances (or lack thereof) and it seems as though anything and everything that they've tried to do in California hasn't been very successful. I googled my question, and this reddit sub popped up.
If Harry threw in the towel, threw himself at the mercy of the King, apologized profoundly for being a such a git, and the King welcomed him back into the fold, WOULD Harry & Meghan be considered senior royals again?
Meghan's line, "As Ever", (For Ever? What Ever?) is a joke: I think that most normal people realize that you can buy the same product for cheaper from the same manufacturer, it just won't have her label on it. And Harry just wants to do philanthropic things and while noble, IS there money in that? Can he support his family? And pay for all of the security he seems to feel that he needs?
If they went back to the UK, at least their security would be provided, the children would get to know their Grandfather and cousins (and learn how to be royals?), and they could actually warrant using their titles (you can't be the Duke & Duchess of Sussex if you live nowhere near Sussex, IMHO).
I know that Meghan didn’t like the comments she was getting in the UK press (and who would?) but that’s what happens when you are in the public eye but you have to get a Teflon coating and let the negative stuff slide off. All of the royals get garbage tossed at them, heck, people STILL give Catherine crap about her thinness! But she carries on. Meghan needed to learn how to do that, IMHO, and I think she would have gotten respect and admiration from the UK citizens if her and Harry hadn’t high tailed it and ran to the states. I think that when she first appeared on the scene, the UK POCs plus the non racists absolutely welcomed her and thought that it was great that Harry fell in love and she was marrying in the royal family.
But now? Maybe they have both burnt that bridge.
