Tipped high just for my food to go on a field trip

i tipped over $10 on a single burrito meal because it originally said 30 mins or less and i was trying to be nice and not one of those people that tips $2 for someone driving across town

tell me why i open the app 10 mins later and suddenly my dasher is doing bonus missions 😭 like why is my burrito actively headed away from my house

i literally sat there watching the little car icon make stop after stop while my food slowly transformed into a refrigerated artifact. the app kept hitting me with “your dasher is completing another order nearby” meanwhile nearby apparently meant a different civilization

and before anyone says “just go get it yourself” i would have if i knew my burrito was gonna be enlisted into public transportation for the evening

like genuinely what is the point of tipping high if the order still gets stacked and takes over an hour. i paid for a burrito not for my food to gain life experience
