Birth by sleep, how do I continue after beating all 3 campaigns?

Okay I just beat the game with all 3 characters and heard that the game should continue from there, but how do I continue it? I got all saves from the protagonists but can only load to fight the final boss with each one again. Starting a new game also didn't change anything
