The hyphen is fine until every sales call becomes a spelling lesson
A hyphenated domain is not the problem by itself. The problem starts when prospects mishear it, type the non-hyphen version, or hesitate because the URL feels less clean than the business.
Before renaming, it is worth checking the new .com, matching social handles, trademark conflicts, and the redirect plan. Otherwise the “cleaner” name can create a new mess.
Built Namedrop to run that naming pass in one place. https://namedrop.cc/blog/when-your-hyphen-domain-starts-costing-sales
