ARSENY is exactly the kind of player who keeps improving from season to season. It’s obvious he’s taking his game seriously now, and his mindset is fully focused 😎

💬 Congrats on the qualification win! You looked very confident throughout the bracket. How would you describe your performance? Who was your toughest opponent?

— After the first qualifier, I had this lingering feeling because I couldn’t show my real game in the finals. So for the second qualifier I tried to focus as much as possible and take what was mine.

The hardest match was against WiseGenie. He has insanely strong mechanics and punishes every mistake really hard. Plus, we haven’t played much against each other, so it was difficult to read his gameplay.

💬 From the outside it really looks like your skill level improved a lot. Did you practice during the offseason?

— Not really, I wouldn’t say I trained specifically. I just tried to learn from every map during previous seasons, reviewed my own games, and gradually improved that way. I also spent a bit more time on my weakest maps.

💬 With this level, it feels like you’ll be fighting for top spots this season. What’s your goal?

— My goal for this season is to reach top 6 and make it to the finals. I’ll try to play every match at my maximum.

💬 What was missing last season, and what did you manage to improve?

— Last season I lost many games because of lack of Quake Live duel experience. I didn’t fully understand how sound worked in certain positions on some maps. And in some matches I simply lacked concentration.

💬 Who will be your toughest opponent in the new season?

— Everyone in the top 6 is really strong. Every match against them is difficult. To beat them, you need to play your absolute best and avoid mistakes.

💬 There are still two qualification days left. Who do you think can make it into the season?

— It all depends on who participates, but swex, cherepoff, prox1mo, RAISY, and WiseGenie all have good chances.

🤨 Players in 250FPS all approach the game differently. Some grind practice nonstop, while others improve mainly through real match experience. And ARSENY is a great example that steady growth and learning from mistakes really works.

🤜 Qualification Day #3 is coming very soon. Who do you think will make it into the season this time?
